Vitality Transformations and my journey with Edwina allowed me to find myself mentally and physically after being lost for so long. A few years ago I was at my peak of fitness, but a year of overworking, many health issues and a few other factors had left me in a bit of a rut. In a short time with my partner’s support, the Vitality Transformations Body and Lifestyle program and Edwina’s passion and care, this quickly changed, and in a way that allows for long term ongoing results, not a quick fix where you revert to old habits. After trying so many different options and trainers, I finally found what I truly needed and am continuing on my own positive path.”

Before I started with Vitality Transformations I was very much not liking what I saw. I avoided mirrors, wore loose fitting clothing, including long tops to avoid looking at my shape.

In terms of my health I was lethargic, lacked any real energy, motivation or enthusiasm. I dragged myself through each day. My liver, kidney and iron levels were all out of their normal ranges. I was being seen by an Endocrinologist to try to get my levels right.

I joined Vitality Transformations hoping to achieve:

  • a better knowledge of food and what it does for/to you
  • happiness and satisfaction with the person I am
  • an excitement and energy for life
  • the ability to interact fully with my grandchildren – running, playing and keeping up with them.

The major difference between the Vitality Transformations program and anything else I had tried before was having a coach assigned to you who is truly interested and committed to support you through the program. Someone who really listens to your goals and helps you to reach them. Someone who celebrates your achievements and supports you through your challenges.

The program teaches you how to prepare fast, delicious and nutritious recipes and the best thing about these is they use everyday ingredients, are very affordable and most I have found to be thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family. No more cooking separate meals.

There is no calorie, kilojoule or point counting, just following a few simple rules about what foods to eat and when to eat them. All the recipes in the manual and the cookbook come with what their metabolic window is, making food choices even easier.

In my journey so far, I have worked on changing my habits of not eating breakfast,drinking hot chocolate every day for morning tea and the way I cook food – e.g. deep fried to air fried.

In six months, I have:

  • improved my health and been discharged by the Endocrinologist as levels have all now returned to normal
  • increased self-esteem, confidence and energy levels
  • lost 13 kilos and dropped clothing size from 20/XL to 12/M
  • now eating breakfast daily
  • have a more positive outlook on life.

I am most proud of my commitment to the program which has helped and continues to help me become the best me I can be.

Besides all of the yummy food, my favourite part of the Vitality Transformations program is the fact that it works in such a way that you can live in the real world and attend those celebrations such as weddings and eat the food served and then get back on track again tomorrow. There is a window that allows for this.

The biggest ‘win’ for me was being able to get back into a dress to wear to my nephew’s wedding. A real feeling of accomplishment.

As my body has been transforming, so has my style of dress. Once I used to cover my body up with baggy shapeless tops, too ashamed and embarrassed to show it. In contrast, I am now wearing with confidence slim line dresses and shorter tops that flatter the figure I now am happy to show.

I now have an excitement for life.

To anyone who is thinking about their own transformation, just go for it, you will not be disappointed; you have everything to gain. I look at the Vitality Transformations program as an eating and exercise plan not a diet. For me diets have a negative connotation and are regimented and dictatorial, generally a recipe for failure. An eating and exercise plan can be altered, updated and tailored to the individual as the need arises, a recipe for success. Plus you will get all the support required along your journey.

“I commenced Vitality Transformations when it first began on Zoom. I complete 4 sessions a week and have not missed a session to date. I highly recommend training with Edwina. The sessions are always different and structured to target different muscle groups. Give these sessions a go, there are morning and afternoon sessions.
